Cook time: 22 minutes
Preheat oven to 450°; cut off top ¼ of garlic + discard; place garlic, cut side up in a baking dish; drizzle cloves with 1 tsp oil + salt; cover with foil + bake 20-25 min til soft + lightly brown; cool slightly, squeeze cloves from skins + mash with a fork
Meanwhile, boil a large pot of unsalted water + gently loosen linguine with hands; carefully place in water, stir immediately + boil 2-3 min til al dente, then drain + return to pot
Wipe mushrooms clean + thinly slice; heat 1 tbsp oil in skillet over high, add mushrooms + cook undisturbed 3 min; sauté 3-4 min til tender; add 1 container of sauce + warm 1 min
Toss pasta with garlic, mushrooms, salt/pep
